Angela Elaine Owens

Angela Elaine "Angie" Owens, age 58, of Meadowview, Va., went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at her home.  She was a former employee of Boise Cascade Office Products, Office Depot, and Universal Companies. Angie was of the Christian faith and attended One Way Ministries as long as her health prevailed.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Mac Arthur Lester; paternal grandparents, Ashley and Hattie Lester; and maternal grandparents, Columbus and Essie Turner.  

Angie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark Anthony "Tony" Owens; mother, Sabery Turner Lester of Meadowview, Va.; two children, Ryan Anthony Owens and wife, Haley, of Meadowview, Va. and Sarah Ann Owens and Keenan of Lincoln, Ala.; three siblings: Arthur Swinfield Lester of Oxfield, Ala.; Essie Luvon Lester of Houston, Texas; and Shona Ann Harless of Oxfield, Ala.; two grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Noah Anthony Owens and Elliana Rose Owens; and an additional grandson expected in November.  

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at One Way Ministries, 1004 S. Shady Ave., Damascus, VA 24236, with Pastor Gary Ritchie officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
