Brian Keith Mitchell

Brian Keith Mitchell, 60, of St. Paul, Va., passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

He was born on January 18, 1966, in Sandusky, Ohio, and graduated from Coeburn High School. He worked as a coal truck driver for several years. Brian loved spending time at the lake and was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Gary Lynn Mitchell and Mona Sue Hale Mitchell.

Survivors include his mother, Melanie Hale Light; brothers, Tommy Hollyfield and wife Dianne, and Donnie Hollyfield and wife Holly; special nephew, Ryan Hollyfield; additional nephews, Daniel Hollyfield, David Hollyfield and T.J. Hollyfield; nieces, Mackenzie Hollyfield and Amanda Hogston and numerous friends.

Following his wishes no services are planned.
