Candace MaKenze Keith

Candace MaKenze Keith, age 37, of Wytheville, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2026, following an accident in Carroll County, Va. Born on February 22, 1989, in Wise County, Va., Candace lived life to the fullest and enjoyed cooking and baking.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Morelock, Jr.

Candace is survived by her mother, Cindy Marie Gilbert; brother, Daniel Wayne Farmer, both of Abingdon, Va.; father figure, Gary Balthis, of Florida; former mother and father-in-law, Gary and Lenita Keith, of Pound, Va.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and lifelong best friend, Whitley Tiller, of Texas.

In accordance with her wishes, Candace's cremated remains will be scattered in the Big Surf vicinity of Big Sur, Calif.
