Cecil Allen Lester, Sr.

Cecil Allen Lester, Sr., age 65, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026. He was born to the late James Lester and Virgie Lou Rose Lester. He worked in the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Bristol as an equipment operator for 35 years.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was also preceded in death by his wife, Emily Ruth Cox Lester; and two brothers, Michael Lester and Sam Lester.

He is survived by two children, Casey Lynn Bryson and Cecil Allen Lester, Jr., both of Bristol, Va.; brother, Jimmy Lester and wife, Debbie, of Bristol, Va.; four grandchildren: Arron Bryson, of the home; Christian Bryson; Leeland Lester; and Paisley Lester, all of Bristol, Va.; best friend, Kathy Fisher; and beloved dachshund, Buddy.
