Charles William Evans

Charles William "Chuck" Evans, age 82, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Ballad Health Hospice House.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and operated a photography business. He also enjoyed music and traveling. 

He was born May 10, 1943, to the late Charles Jacob Evans and Katherine Marie Vestre Evans in Detroit, Mich. 

Chuck is survived by his fiancée, Loretta Looney Ratliff; brother, Steve Evans and wife, Joyce, of Navato, Calif.; niece, Stephanie Searle and husband, Jason, of Navato, Calif.; one great nephew, Colton, and a great niece, Rubye, who affectionally referred to him as "Uncle Chick." 

According to his wishes, no formal services will be held.
