Christopher Loren "Chris" Barker, age 64, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the Ballad Hospice House.
He was born March 6, 1962, to the late Garnett Gordon Barker and Wilma Rosalie Almany Barker in Bristol, Tenn. In addition to his parents, Chris was also preceded in death by a nephew, Josh Barker.
Chris is survived by three siblings, Chuck Barker; Lisa Smelser; and Kathy Barker, all of Bristol, Tenn.; two nieces and six nephews: Justin Poore, and wife Kasey; Kara Offield and husband, David Allen; and Brad Poore and wife, Amanda, all of Bristol, Tenn.; Brandon Barker; Ethan Compton; Katrina Compton; and Brendon Compton; two great nieces and four great nephews: Izabella, Ava, Samuel, Noah, Lucas and Sproles.
