Cody Dalton Bise

Cody Dalton Bise, age 31, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at his residence. He was a beloved employee of Jack’s 128 Pecan. Cody had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Fleenor; step-father, Clyde Presley; two brothers, Ryan Hicks and Josh Presley; maternal grandmother, Mildred Adams Holley; and an uncle, Timothy Holley.

Cody is survived by his mother, Reva June Presley, of Marion, Va.; three brothers, Mitchell Bise, of Marion, Va., Josh Fleenor, of Bristol, Va., and Gideon Presley, of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Tasha Presley, of Marion, Va.; grandmother, Jeanette Bise, of Marion, Va.; longtime companion, Jessica Bise, and her son, C.J., of Damascus, Va.; roommate, Ryan Nickels; his employer, Jack Barrow, his fellow co-workers at the restaurant; and a host of other friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Chilhowie Christian Church with Minister Frank Branson officiating.
