Gary Lee Thompson

Gary Lee Thompson, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell Thompson and Celia Mutter Thompson and brother, Raymond Thompson.  

He is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Kenny) Johnson of Meadowview, Va. and Amanda Hill of Abingdon, Va.; two sisters, Carol Ledford of Hickory, N.C. and Betty Olinger of Glade Spring, Va.; two brothers, Ricky (Patty) Thompson of Telford, Tenn. and Donnie (Sue) Thompson of Abingdon, Va.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
