Glenda Hatcher Hill

Glenda Hatcher Hill, age 72, of Bristol, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Smyth County Community Hospital.

She was born to the late Carl Eugene Baker and Geneva Martha Proffit Baker in Sullivan County, Tenn. on June 22, 1954. Glenda grew up to be an exceptional mother, giving of her time and talents with selfless love. She was a true friend, a compassionate and caring individual, and a follower of her Lord, Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Hatcher; two sisters, Trula Baker and Brenda Baker Trinkle; and her brother, Lester Baker.

She is survived by her loving husband of eight years, Michael Hill; son, Carl Baker; two daughters, Tracy Moore and husband, JD, and Martha Malone; brother, Lonnie Baker; many adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren.
