Glenn Franklin Eller, age 75, of Bristol, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Bristol, Va., Glenn lived a full life defined by service, love, and a knack for finding the best deal in town. A proud United States Army veteran, Glenn served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. After his time in the military, he continued to serve in quieter but equally impactful ways—as a devoted father, a doting grandfather, a loyal brother, and a friend to all who crossed his path.

Glenn had a gift for storytelling, a passion for fishing, and a deep love of cooking—especially when he could convince everyone his fried chicken was better than theirs (it usually was). If there was a sale going on, Glenn was already there and had probably talked the price down even lower. His humor, kindness, and strong opinions on everything from politics to steak recipes will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Barbetto and husband, Cameron; his son, Frank Eller; grandsons, Braxden Hess and Bowen Barbetto, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his sister, Linda West; brother, Bobby Eller and partner, Donna Ostermeyer; niece, Amanda West; nephews, Michael West and wife, Jennifer, and Chris West and wife, Nikki; great niece, Heather West; and special friends, Richie Patrick, Mike Hobbs, and Renee Wallace.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ruby Eller; daughter, Tammy Nelson; and brother-in-law, Albert West.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Mountain Home National Cemetery, located at 53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684, with Elder Carmen Sensky officiating and Elder Richie Patrick assisting. Military honors are being rendered by VFW Post 4933 Boone Dam and the Army National Guard.
