Harold David Wilson

Harold David Wilson, age 61, of Chilhowie, Va., passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at his home.

He was born on June 20, 1965, in Saltville, Va., to the late Eugene Marshall Wilson and Virgie Frances Keesee Wilson.  He was of the Christian faith.

Harold worked many years in manufacturing at TRW, later he worked at W&L Construction and Paramont Manufacturing before retiring in 2007. In his younger years he helped his father farm tobacco on the old home place which he dearly loved and lived on for many years.  Harold often helped friends with small repair work.  

He also enjoyed being in the woods, gathering herbs, watching T.V. shows and collecting things. He often reminisced about the good old days and he never missed an opportunity to recite a funny story or to tell a good joke. 

Survivors include three sons:  David Dixon of Chilhowie, Va.; Jacob Mullen and wife, Adondia, of Marion, Va.; and Matthew Wilson of Bristol, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Xavier Dixon, Rayleigh Mullen, Kaileigh Mullen; eight siblings, Carol Wilson of Bristol, Va., Charles Wilson of Adwolfe, Va., Cricket McClure of Abingdon, Va., Judy Shores and husband, Warren, of Tennessee, Sue Poston of Seven Mile Ford, Va., Alice Richie of Florida, Roger Wilson and wife, Marie, of Chilhowie, Va., and Sandy Blevins and husband, Eddie, of Marion, Va.; and several nieces, nephews, close friends and special “buddies”.

Honoring his wishes, all services will be private.
