Jenny Miller Orr

Jenny Miller Orr, age 79, of Bristol, Va., departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at English Meadows.  She was born on October 27, 1944, to the late Robert Kenneth Miller and Henrietta Meade Miller in Wise, Va.  
 
Jenny was a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School, Clinch Valley College and ETSU.  She taught school for six years.  She loved to cook, bake, sew, knit and collect sports cards and seashells.  She enjoyed antique furniture, yard sales and watching baseball, football and soccer on tv.  
 
Jenny treasured her role as a devoted wife to Gale Orr for over 57 years.  Together they celebrated life's joys and challenges with unwavering strength.  
 
She is also survived by two sons who were the pride of her heart: Jayson Orr and his wife, Becky, of Abingdon, Va. and Jonathan Orr of Bristol, Va. Jenny found great joy in the presence of her loving grandson, Sammy Orr, who will forever hold cherished memories of their time spent together.
