The man, the myth, the legend, Joseph Jacob Pasint, Sr., age 87, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Ballad Hospice House.
Joseph was a devoted father, husband, and friend who lived a life filled with joy and warmth. He shared 65 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, who sadly passed away just a month shy of their 65th wedding anniversary. Their enduring love was a testament to their remarkable bond and the cherished memories they created together.
Affectionately known as "Gator Joe," Joe was a man of many passions and a legendary figure among his friends and family. He particularly enjoyed hunting, dedicating weekends each year for four months to pursue this beloved hobby alongside his trusty buggy and hounds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Pasint and Marion Dill Pasint; his wife of 64 years, Cheryl Kroll Pasint; daughter, Cindyann Scott; and three sisters, Betty, June, Marion.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Carolann Pasint Dillon of Abingdon, Va.; son, Joseph Jacob Pasint, Jr. of Coconut Creek, Fla.; and three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Joseph leaves behind a legacy of love and adventure, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Love always, rest in peace, until we meet again.
