Lynda LaVerle Dalton

Lynda LaVerle Dalton, age 66, of Abingdon, Va. and formerly of Gilette, Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Ballad Hospice House. She was born February 24, 1960, to the late Ronald James Moultrie and Loretta LaVerla Parenteau Moultrie in Sandpoint, Idaho.

She was the former proprietor of two businesses in Wyoming: Steamer Trunk, an antique store, and Health Styles Market, a health food store. Following her relocation to Abingdon, she continued her passion for holistic wellness by offering Reiki services from her home.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, William Morris "Bill" Dalton; two children, Elizabeth A. Krause of Anderson, S.C.; and Robert W. Dalton of Seattle, Wash.; and a granddaughter, Lily Krause.
