Mary Elizabeth Widner, age 43, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born September 3, 1982, to William George Boardwine and the late Brenda Marie Arnold Boardwine in Salem, Va.
In addition to her mother, Mary was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Hattie Arnold; and paternal grandmother, Ella Penley.
In addition to her father, she is also survived by her husband of 22 years, Charles Wayne Widner; four children: Charles Douglas Widner; Angel Amy Marianna Widner; Rosemary Elizabeth Boardwine; and Jacob Charles William Boardwine; and two grandchildren.
