Mary Catherine Odell

Mary Catherine Odell, age 57, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was the last of her family branch on both sides, and was preceded in death by her father, Randall T. Odell; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Odell, Sr.; mother, Mary Louise Cravens Odell; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Cravens; and three sisters, Vicky Louise Odell, Lisa Gaye Odell, and Rebecca Susan Odell.

She is survived by her dear friends, Melissa and Craig Robinson, as well as her aunts, Donna Sue Murray, Janie Odell, Joan Odell; and several cousins, all on her father’s side.

Catherine was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and mama to her cats. 

In her honor, please send donations to Washington County Animal Shelter, Animal Defense League of Abingdon, or Margaret Mitchell/Bristol Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic.

A memorial service in Catherine’s honor will be held at a later time.
