Merry Louise Murdock

Merry Louise Murdock, age 73, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Ballad Hospice House.  She retired from New London High School in Connecticut where she taught Home Economics.  

She was born September 1, 1953, the late Maclyn Murdock and Lois Durand Murdock in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.  

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, John Murdock. 

Merry is survived by her daughter, Amber Darr Baker of Waynesboro, Ga.; son, Ben Fontneau and wife, Alyssa, of Preston, Conn.; three siblings, Cheryl LeBlanc, James Murdock, and Lisa Norman; and a grandson, Cameron.
