Nancy Ann Flagle

Nov 1, 1946 — Oct 21, 2026

Nancy Ann Cumbow Flagle, a lifelong resident of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was born November 1, 1946, to the late William Cumbow and Martha Jane Vance Cumbow, in what is now her daughter's current residence in Bristol, Tenn. Nancy formerly managed If It’s Paper of Bristol, Va., and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Missy Murray. and husband. Sam, of Bristol, Tenn.; son, William David Flagle, and wife, Patty, of Bristol, Tenn.; brother, Garry Cumbow, of Bristol, Tenn.; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn Powers, and husband, Kolton, of Bristol, Tenn.; Morgan Scott, and husband Hunter, of Piney Flats, Tenn.; Hannah Karr, and husband, Dylan, of Bristol, Tenn.; and Ashley Flagle, of Bristol, Tenn.; and one great-granddaughter, Everly.

Anyone who knew Nancy knows her as Manan. Manan loved her family. She lived a life of service to others, always putting others before herself. She took care of her oldest sister, Betty, and continued taking care of her disabled brother, Garry. We know she has met her maker saying to her, “Well done, good, faithful servant!”

Manan loved her grandchildren. She was always there for them, loving them and taking care of them. She was very active in anything her girls were involved in. Especially beach trips, vacations, pottery, tennis, and of course shopping. She made so many memories that all of us will cherish for a lifetime. Words can’t express what a remarkable woman she is.

The family would like to thank Gentiva for their loving care, especially Jessica and Kelly; as well as, Sheena Crosswhite and Logan Whaley for going above and beyond with her care. Manan felt safe and very loved.

"Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring praise at the city gate." -Proverbs 31:31

Honoring Nancy's wishes, there will not be a funeral service.
