Shirley Ann Walton

Shirley Ann House Walton, age 80, of Saltville, Va., passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Shirley was known for her love of television, particularly her daily soap operas. During times when her health permitted, she enjoyed shopping and relishing a Pepsi-Cola accompanied by a good piece of chocolate. Shirley had a passion for nurturing her flower beds and was delighted by the sight of hummingbirds. Her affection extended to her beloved cats, as she held a strong belief in never allowing an animal to go hungry.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary House, and her husband, Willis Walton, Sr.

Shirley is survived by her son, Willis Walton, Jr.; a special grandson, Daniel Ray Walton, both of the home; and four additional grandchildren.
