Wanda Arlene Bland

Wanda "Arlene" Bland, age 71, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her residence. She was born April 19, 1955, to the late Silvey Lacy Neel and Mary Magdalene Short Neel.  She retired from General Dynamics where she was employed as an Assembler.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jackie Lee Bland; son, Christopher Lee Bland; daughter, Melissa Bland; and sister, Edna C. Neel.

Arlene is survived by two sons, David Bland and Danny Bland, both of Glade Spring, Va.; brother, Danny Joe Neel and wife, Tracy, of Pasadena, Texas; and several niece and nephews.  

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
