William Marshall Coleman

William "Marshall" Coleman, age 89, of Abingdon, Va. and formerly of Welch, W. Va., passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born April 24, 1937, to the late Dalton Coleman and Cyrina Bowman Coleman in Northfork, W. Va. Marshall graduated from Northfork High School in 1955 and worked for many years as an auto body mechanic in Welch, W. Va. He will be remembered for his kindness and compassion that he extended to everyone but especially the love he showed to his family.

In addition to his parents, Marshall was also preceded in death by his first born daughter, Terri; and a grandson, Eric.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Yvonne White Coleman; two daughters, Sheila Lusk and husband, Jody, of Abingdon, Va. and Marsha Burks and husband, Greg, of South Lyon, Mich.; three grandchildren: David Hunt and wife, Holly; Cole Lusk and wife, BreAnna; and Amber Nelson and husband, Adam; and seven great grandchildren, Greyson, Rhett, Molly, Simon, Sunnie, Lilly, and David.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, 450 Courthouse Road Princeton, W.V. 24740, with Chuck Hammond officiating.
